1869 Seated Liberty Dollar, High End Circulated Coin, Better Date 0421-22

1869 Liberty Seated Dollar, a high grade circulated example of this better date.  In my opinion details of Almost Uncirculated, with sharp overall detail however surfaces that are just a touch dark and lightly scuffy.  Typically the major services want to see "white" or at least brighter coins to certify a Seated Dollar an AU, as ludicrous as that may be,
even if that means the coin has been cleaned/conserved to get the grade - just look at some of the coins shown on PCGS CoinFacts.
No obvious signs of a cleaning (no hairlines), however I think that you should assume that it was lightly cleaned at some point.  This still displays signs of Prooflike surfaces, as noted by Bowers, with blue & red toning highlights around the devices when the coin is tipped to the light.   In my opinion the "look" while not ideal beats the typical polished/scrubbed/dented, etc. coin seen.  Guaranteed genuine.
