Description
An interesting censored cover mailed from Algiers, Algeria and addressed to the International Red Cross in Geneva, Switzerland. Franked with two Algeria Scott #142, the 2 franc Arms of Oran stamp from 1942 which are tied to the cover by an Alger R.P., Alger machine cancel dated February 18, 1943. There is a German censor marking of "A.x." in a circle which is the designation of the Paris censor. This cover measures 146mm x 113mm.
