Antique c. 1900 Art Nouveau William Kerr Sterling Silver Vanity Hair Brush
This is a beautiful
Antique c. 1900 Art Nouveau William Kerr Sterling Silver Vanity Hair Brush.  Measuring 9 1/4" long x 3 1/4" wide and weighing 184.3 grams.  The brush has a repousse design of an Art Nouveau maiden woman with long flowing hair and trumpet vine flowers.
There is a monogram in a fancy script above the maiden's head.
Signed on the side STERLING with the William B. Kerr maker's mark and 1447, the model number.
Condition is very, very good.  The repousse work on the top looks pretty clean with no dents.  It's in very good condition considering most of these have small dings all over and this one has a very hard to notice pin dot size ding on the top side and another small ding that is hard to notice a little below it.  The bristles of the brush are full and I did not notice any loss.  There some minor age discoloration to the bristles.
