Beautiful ENGLISH, early 1900's, STERLING SILVER
COMPACT with Square Mirror and Powder Storage
and COMB with matching Hall Marks on both Sterling sections.
NO MONOGRAMS
Compact is 3 1/4 " x 3 1/4" Square.
Comb is 4 1/2" Long x 1" Tall
HALLMARKS ( all in my photos)
COMB - C & C, Lion facing left, Leopard's Face, O
COMPACT - K L, U, Lion facing left, Leopard's Face
On the Oval on the inside powder lid is another Lion facing left
On the inside, below the mirror is "MADE IN ENGLAND, the Lion facing left, the Leopard face
Items are approx 100 years old and previously owned. The powder is empty, The underliner is still intact but no powder puff pad is in it.
The Comb has 1 tooth missing.
Both pieces close tightly and opener tabs and buttons work on the Compact.
Light scratches from previous use. No chips, dents, or cracks.
