Antique GORHAM Floral Sterling Handle 5 PC VANITY ACCESSORIES Set-As Is

For sale are five antique Gorham floral sterling handle vanity items, as is.  There is a 7 ¾ inch long comb, and 8 ½ inch shoehorn, a 6 3/8 inch nail file, a 5 1/2 inch cuticle knife and a 6 1/2 inch button hook.  The blades and hooks are steel, and the comb fragments are an early plastic.  The handles are decorated with flowers in low relief.  The pieces are not monogrammed.  They are all marked with the Gorham trademark, and “STERLING”, with “C477” on the comb, “B1800” on the shoehorn, “B1742” on the nail file, “B1743” on the cuticle knife and “B1752” on the button hook.  All five pieces were part of a single vanity set, despite the differences from piece to piece.
Condition on the set is fair/poor.  The comb tines are mostly destroyed, and the nail file handle is badly dented as shown.  There are a few other smaller dents, several nicks to the cuticle knife blade, and surface rust on the steel ends.  Still an interesting set for restoration or repurposing!
