ANTIQUE/Vintage R. WALLACE & SONS STERLING SILVER CLOTHES BRUSH
Maker’s Marks: R.W. & S, Makers symbol, STERLING, 8000 - 4, monogrammed.
Circa: 1900-1940
Description: A lovely sterling clothes brush by R. Wallace & Sons!  In good antique condition, sterling is lovely, with some very light scratches, and along the sides you will see some minor dings.  The bristles are in fairly good condition, there are some missing along the edges, and it’s a little out of shape.  There is just one place where the plastic has chipped off.  The brush piece itself is secure to the sterling cover, but I believe it may have been removed at some point, and possible chipped hard material was removed.  So you will see some minor bending to the edges of the metal border, and the brush sits down slightly lower.  Sounds worse than it is, I just like to be very thorough with my descriptions.  All and all I think it will display nicely!
Measurements: 7 ¼” long, 3” tall, & 2 ¼”  at its widest point.
