BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER VANITY CLOTHES BRUSH ART NOUVEAU HOPE.
This is a beautiful antique sterling silver clothes brush that belonged to my grandmother in the early 1900's. It measures 5.5" x 1.5" x 1.5."  It is in excellent condition including the bristles except for one section of bristles on the edge looks to be worn. See pictures. However, there are no holes or missing bunches of bristles. It is marked with an anchor and "Hope Silver -C" and another small marking which looks to be a circle over a line.  See pictures.  In researching silver it was noted that the anchor stands for Birmingham, England (the city in which it was made) and the "C" stands for the date. One site said the "C" represented the year 1775.  I am no expert in silver so these markings may represent something else. Please do your own research if you are interested. This is a very nice antique silver piece.
