    Description

    This is a Degenhart 3 Inch Hen on Nest Chick Salt . The mark is a heart with D inside and the color is Amethyst. This salt is in excellent condition with no chips , cracks or damage.   These salts were made starting in 1966 and marked in 1972. In later years , The top is 3”x2” and the base is 3 3/8”x 2 3/8 “.
    Boyd Crystal Art Glass Company bought the mould from
    Degenhart when they closed their factory.
