    This is a Degenhart 3 Inch Hen on Nest Chick Salt.The mark is a heart with D inside. I believe the color is called Bittersweet but could also be Buttercup. This salt is in excellent condition with no chips , cracks or damage.   These hens were made starting in 1966 and marked in 1972. In later years ,
    Boyd Crystal Art Glass Company bought the mould from
    Degenhart when they closed their factory.
