Description

Akron M-PAK 100T extruder, Model PAK-100T, 24:1 L/D ratio, Includes electrically heated extrusion section with 1" diameter X 24" long screw, leading to (2) 1/4" diameter discharge ports, plastics extruder. Pellets are fed through 10" x 10" pyramid shaped feed hopper, feeding 1" X 2" feed opening with jacketed feed. Extruder Is set up for 3- zone heating. Screw is driven by 3 HP, 1755 RPM, 230/460 V, 3/60 Hz motor through gearbox with 15:1 ratio. Complete with control panel including readout for screw RPM, load percent, melt temp, die one and zones 1, 2 & 3. Extruder Is unitized on base with casters. Serial number 9732, new in 1997, rated for 460V, 21 AMP, 60 Hz, 3-phase. Extruder is in good condition.
