    Description

    Hughes 8 foot long 48" diameter rotary screen direct steam blancher.  I believe it has .0250 screen perforations so it would be suitable for rice blanching or similar small grains.  Last running dry pasta at a rate of 2,500 pounds per hour, could do much much more but we were limited by our boiler capacity of 15 h.p. due to power available into the building and the type of cryo freezer we had.  I don't see outputs of 3-4x more with the right set up.
    Pretty much a turn-key system except for steam trap and a culinary filter.  Can also be used as a cooling system.
