The
bowl trough
has normal wear and tear inside and out, and is in decent shape.  There are very few marks from tapping on the bowl to free bridging.  As seen in the pictures, there is minor scraping on the inside from the horizontal agitator.  The quick release mounting tang is secure and in good shape, and the sealing surfaces are okay.  The bowl is missing one mounting cap screw.
The feed auger
discharge tube
appears to had the length modified at some point.  The TIG weld is good and the tube is straight.  There was a hole cut in the discharge chute to allow the ends of the feed augers through.
The
feed screw augers
were meant to have carrier bearings on the ends for support.  This unit uses the silicone guide with hose-clamps to keep the augers from free-floating around while turning.  This setup worked well with powdered or pulverized materials keeping the augers centered in the discharge tube.
The fine pitch concave flights are in good condition without any missing plating.  In the second to last picture, one of the augers was cleaned with a wire brush to remove the powdered ingredient residue showing the polished surface. The bayonet type drive ends are in very good condition and appear they were installed correctly without forcing them on the drive shafts between cleanings.
This unit is not compatible with the newer K-tron "Quick Change" feeder system.
