LA VISION Sterling Victorian Hairbrush with Tempestuous Art Nouveau Scene c.1890

Description

This fine sterling backed natural bristle hairbrush has an Art Nouveau scene of a maiden in a tempestuous sea with crashing waves.  The markings on the edge of the hairbrush tell us the scene is called LA VISION.  I can't quite make out the maker's mark but it might be by a Portland, oregon fire called Albert Feldenheimer who had Mt. Hood as his logo.  The brush is 3.5" x 2.5" and is in very nice condition.  It has a central cartouche (slightly dented) with no monogram.
