Interior of mixer and all product contact surfaces constructed of 304 stainless steel polished to a #120 grit finish.
Sanitary construction.

NOMINAL WORKING CAPACITY:
15 cubic feet.
WORKING RANGE:
7-15 cubic feet.
DRIVE:
20 hp, 230/3/60 TEFC motor, Model 2215 JF-09, shaft mounted speed reducer.
Main mixer shaft designed to run at 130 rpm
ELECTRICAL CONTROLS:
Pushbutton station mounted on front of mixer.
Control enclosure containing starter equipment, overlaod protection and reduced voltage transformer.
Controls are NEMA 12 rated for 230 volt, 3 phase, 60 cycle input power.
Control circuit is 115 volts.
Two NEMA 12 ammeters.
CHARGING PORT:
one, 10-1/4” standard, flanged
ACCESS DOOR:
One hinged access door on front of mixer, 14” x 22” standard.
Door is designed to have safety switch mounted on door which prevents start-up of mixer when door is open.
DISCHARGE PORT:
15-1/2” diameter flanged port on bottom of mixer with a manually operated gasketed contour door.
VENT PORT: one, 8-1/8” flanged standard designed with extension filter bag hardware, no bag included.
CHOPPER SYSTEM:
Two (2) high speed chopper assemblies, each powered by a 5 hp 230/460 volt TEFC motor.
SEALS:
Air purge seals on main and chopper shafts.
LIQUID INJECTION:
Two (2) lance type liquid injectors, one installed by each chopper assembly.
Designed to spray liquid into the vortex created by the chopper.
Stuffing box seals with air purge
Drum is 5/16” thick 304 stainless steel, 31-1/8” inside diameter.
Heads are 1” thick and are removable design.
Shaft is 3.5” diameter.
Plows are FKM standard, 304 stainless sanitary design, quantity 3, with 2 end plate scrapers.
Own owner use.
Unit has been used very little mostly in development lab environment.
Previous owner added a secondary base that adds an additional 24 inches of height. (this addition can easily be removed).
As built, clearance from outlet flange to grade with existing factory pedestal is 36”. Overall length of main mixer is 93 inches. Height not counting base is 5’.
Unit was built in 1984.
