was an American actor, comedian, musician and songwriter. He was an orchestra leader and a pioneer in radio situation comedy, first with The Jack Benny Program and later he3 starred in a radio show with his wife, Alice Faye.
Harris is also noted for his voice acting in animated films and his novelty songs.
Harris was a regular participant in the “Crosby Clambake” golf tournament, now the AT&T Pro-Am. This Tournament was dedicated to his love of the game of golf.
