Rossini Ceramic Chicken in Basket Weave Ceramic Nest + Salt & Pepper Shakers

Offering for your consideration are these
six pieces of Vintage (1950's) Rossini Country Kitchen Amber Golden Basket Weave Maple Leaf Ceramic
in very good pre-owned condition.  The pieces include a Chicken sitting on a Ceramic Basket Weave Container with a Golden Maple Leaf adorning the front.  The basket measures 3" H x 4" Wide x 3.5" D.  When chicken lid is added, the item is approximately 5" high.  The piece is free of nicks, chips, stains, cracks, or repairs.  The chicken appears to have some paint wear but since each of these pieces were cold painted by hand, it is difficult to determine actual extent.  Still looks fantastic.  Also included in this offer is two matching sets of salt and pepper shakers. The shakers were part of the Basket Weave Maple Leaf Collection and these 2 sets are in really good vintage condition.  The chickens are approximately 3" tall x 3" from beak to tip of tail.  Because of the hand painting and probably paint wear, they offer a bit of a varied look which adds to the intrigue of the set.  One of the shakers has a flea bite on the end of the beak and otherwise none are stained, chipped, cracked or repaired.  Only two have stoppers and they are plastic in lieu of cork so probably not original.  I don't think they were ever used and know they were not during the 40 plus years that I have owned them.  Each one is embossed
JAPAN
on the underside.
I have described this offer to the best of my ability but please pay close attention to my photos as they are a more definitive description than I could possibly provide. Keep in mind that these items are
VINTAGE
so never perfect and may have manufacturing flaws as well as age spots that I may have missed in my inspection.
