The Thermo MAXQ 2000 CO2 Plus Shaker is an open-air orbital benchtop shaker from Thermo Scientific. This particular model of MaxQ 2000 is a CO2 resistant shaker that can be placed directly inside a CO2 incubator. This CO2 shaker is recommended for cell culture, bacterial suspensions, solubility studies, staining and de-staining, extraction procedures, washing procedures, diagnostic tests, hybridization, and general mixing. The Thermo MaxQ 2000 is a lab shaker that can be used with various platforms, clamps, and incubators. Users can precisely set their desired speed from the upfront digital control panel, between 30 – 300 rpm, and their time for either continuous or from between 0 – 99 h 59 min. The orbit of this CO2 resistant shaker operates at 0.75" / 19mm.
The MaxQ 2000 CO2 shaker can accept up to 13lbs of weight and operate up to 4°C - 60°C, 20% - 95% rH, 0% - 20% (CO2 density). This allows the laboratory shaker to be used in CO2 incubators, environmental chambers, and refrigerators.
