Unikat 1973 Handmade in Poland LTD ED 2007 "Presence of Love" Basket Andrumewicz.
Over the next few days, we are putting up for sale a very nice selection of Polish pottery made in Boleslawiec, Poland including rare hard to find pieces. (This area actually started making pottery in the 17th century.) We are selling Unikat hand-fired stoneware, a superb quality of Polish pottery with several distinct styles of glaze. (Unikat means "unique" in Polish and this pottery stands up to its name.) There are basically two styles of Polish pottery. The most common is the Peacock's Eye pattern. What we are selling is the second style that is less common with floral and botanical patterns in a soft, loose folk style. The two primary colors used are blue and pink. What makes these more special is that each piece is signed by well known artists who you can check out on the Internet. The pieces we are putting up for sale next are by the artist, Teresa Liana. This series is exceptionally gorgeous. Remember these pottery pieces are meant to mix and match. All the pottery pieces are new with their original sticker unless otherwise indicated .
