US Army Special Forces troopers and Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol "LRRPs" in Vietnam were allowed great leeway in their choice of uniforms, leading many to wear spot camouflage fatigues, often acquired from US or in-country sources. Some were also swapped from Republic of Korea (ROK) soldiers and Marines during joint training exercises in Southeast Asia. This US Army Vietnam SPECIAL FORCES LRRP KOREAN ROK MARINE SPOT CAMO COMBAT SHIRT is in very good condition, with a small hole in the front left shoulder, a bit of loose seam stitching at the bottom corner of the interior lower left front placket, some loose threading to the buttons throughout, a few letters and numbers hand applied in black marker at the interior lower right front, and with some light overall age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the shirt is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough HBT 100% cotton construction. Most interestingly, it measures to about a Size 38 chest, retains a great amount of the vibrant South Korean spot camouflage colors, and bears the classic ROK Marine eagle, star, and anchor insignia stamped at the left chest pocket. It carries the original number "2" tag at the inside neck, features single covered button flap closure chest pockets, and sports all of the original flat rimmed OD plastic buttons throughout.
