    Description

Rare SAP 2nd pattern shirt. This pattern is the second version of another pattern very similar that was introduced in the early 70s. This pattern was introduced in 73 and used until 2004 when SA decided to give the police a less militarized look and from them on only special task forces wear this pattern. This pattern has seen a lot of action as the SAP has been an extremely active police force that trains hardcore regularly to combat all the wild stuff that happens.
This shirt is dated 71 made in Cape Town. Extremely well kept and presentable shirt. Just a couple small stains on the front back and left shoulder as pictured. I cannot confirm of they are blood but look to be so. Very lightweight thin and comfortable design ideal for hot weather but I strongly suggest experimenting with a pair of slacks and a blazer over this shirt. Simple single button chest pocket design, Single button wrists, buttoned shoulder boards and six button frontal closure. No fading at all the material still has a kind of shine to it. All buttons and stitching are original with no repairs or damages. Ready for a nice range day or under a jacket for dinner.
Size 24-25 inches across chest 25 inch sleeve from shoulder seam to cuff
