Vtg Opaque Blue HEN ON NEST, Candy Bowl & Cover - Slag, Basket Weave, Split Tail

You are bidding on a wonderful vintage opaque blue or slag blue hen on a nest measuring 7" long and 5 1/2" tall.  This hen is quite striking and would look great in any household.  The hen has a split tail and a basketweave base.  There are eggs on the front on the top portion and overall, it is a wonderful piece.  The hen on nest is in good condition with a single chip off the base (as shown) and some minor roughness on the inside rim of the base.  Otherwise a real stunner.
I use the US Postal Service and use priority mail to ensure quick delivery although size/weight can often be a deterrent due to a balloon fee on boxes over a certain size. Shipping costs are based on weight  distance from my home in Fairhaven, MA. In simplest terms, I ship priority mail unless it is a book (then I ship using media mail) or if the item is bigger than a breadbox or heavier than 5 lbs (unless I can fit it in a flat rate box).
I've been selling on Ebay since 1998 but this is not a full time job.
