everything is authentic Microsoft brand, it is complete and plug and play, everything has been cleaned, the sensor was tested on an Xbox 360 Slim S, the sensor lights up, the light on the left looks purple in the photo but is red to the eye, the tracking(movement detection) and built in microphone test passed, the motor or device that moves the sensor around by itself works fine, the usb power adapter is UNTESTED
FOR USE ON XBOX 360 CONSOLES
you will need the usb power adapter on the older consoles(matte white 1st Gen and matte black Elite), the orange plug from the sensor goes into the orange port in the adapter, then plug the usb plug into the Xbox, for newer models(Slim S and E), the sensor plug has a Kinect Sensor port in the back of the consoles
FOR USE WITH PC/MAC FOR SLS
the plug on the sensor is a special plug for the Xbox 360, you will need the USB adapter, plug the orange plug from the sensor into the orange port in the adapter, then plug the usb plug into the computer, i do not know if you need to plug the power plug in for extra power to work but it is there if you need it, you will need a computer and proper software to work
